Sidney Walker is the owner and founder of S.Y.D. SIDNEY YOUNIQUE DESGNS, originally known as Mamie Special Occasions, which was named after Sidney’s grandmother who raised him until the age of 13.

Sidney has been coordinating weddings and extraordinary events around the world for over twenty years. Whether planning a baby shower, a dinner party, or a wedding, with Sidney's professional experience it makes each client feel special and thoroughly pampered. The Team

Every associate who coordinates or plans events with Sidney Younique Designs has been carefully vetted before being invited into our team.  Associates have significant experience planning and coordinating events in both the corporate and social event space. While an associate can have the perfect resume, I look for an ideal blend of type-A attention to detail and a relaxed, warm, humorous personality, with an ability to be diplomatic in all situations.  This is what sets S.Y.D. apart, and my associates reflect these values. We all work from a uniform set of procedures and project management protocols, to ensure high quality and consistency from one event to another, yet we mold the process to each client’s specific, unique needs.
